Today we chat with Ángeles Bauzano, a Seville-based florist and founder of The Flower Workshop , a floral workshop where she transforms flowers into authentic works of art. Her elegant and natural work has graced exclusive events, including our 20th anniversary at Cherubina.

A passion that blossoms

Ángeles Bauzano is a Sevillian florist and founder of The Flower Workshop , a floral workshop founded in 2020 in Seville. She holds a law degree and worked in the fashion industry. After several years living and traveling abroad, she decided to return to her roots to unleash her creativity through flowers. Her passion for floral art and the slow life lifestyle are reflected in each of her creations, bringing a unique and natural touch to weddings, events, and fashion editorials. Ángeles was the architect of the spectacular floral decoration for our Cherubina 20th anniversary party and is the artist behind some of the most beautiful wedding decorations we've ever seen.

A natural and elegant style

How would you define the essence of your creations?

"I'd say my style is natural, a bit wild, and unstructured. I like to select special, rarely seen flowers in everyday life to give them prominence in each composition."

The art of selecting flowers

You work with preserved and natural flowers. What inspires you when choosing materials and combinations?

"Fresh flowers are my passion. Their freshness, color, and fragrance are unparalleled. We also dry a selection of seasonal flowers ourselves so we can enjoy them longer."

From sketch to floral work

What is your creative process like?

"We create a mood board for inspiration, select the best seasonal flowers, and just go with the flow. We rarely start out knowing exactly how the design will end up, and the result always surprises us for the better."

Flowers for special occasions

You've worked on weddings and exclusive events. What has been one of your favorite projects?

"The floral decoration for Cherubina's 20th anniversary. It was a wonderful challenge and I enjoyed every detail. Having worked in fashion, I love being able to remain connected to this world in some way."

Personalization and details that make the difference

What is the biggest challenge when creating unique arrangements for each client?

"We ask a lot of questions to understand each person's style and the spirit of the event. We want each creation to reflect their essence."

The link between fashion and flowers

Flowers play a key role in fashion and decor. How do you see that connection?

"I'm inspired by fashion and decor trends. We don't just work with flowers; we also take care with the candlelight, the fabrics, the tablecloth prints, and every detail to create a harmonious experience."

Respect for tradition, but with an innovative touch

At Cherubina , we value craftsmanship. How do tradition and trends influence your work?

"I have a lot of respect for this craft, which has always been traditional, especially in our region. But I also try to innovate and add a different twist to each composition. I love the garden style , where the flowers seem to grow naturally."

Inspiration in nature

Your designs convey a strong sense of sensitivity. Where does your inspiration come from?

"From nature. I live surrounded by vegetation and gardens, and I love watching the fields and trees bloom in every season. Playing with nature in my creations is what I enjoy most."
